He is doing research on featherian and flight equipment with the desire to meet her mother.
When Ariost was a child, he lived with his father and mother, Gina.
But featherians found Gina yesterday, they took her away forcibly because she violated the featherian’s rules.
Since then, Ariost lived with his father until his father died.
Since Gina was brought back to the featherians’ abode called Featherland, Ariost begins research on flying device in order to find his mother who lives in Featherland floating in the air.
Growlanser I
Ariost met the protagonist for the first time was at the cape that was to the northwest of Rosalia. There, Ariost explained about featherian, growhian, and growshu to the protagonist and Tipi.
When Ariost was in danger in the ruins south of the magic academy, he was saved by the protagonist and the party. After that, Ariost finished the flying device he had created and went to Featherland with Ruise. After that, he started research on featherians to prove that humans have a superior side to featherians.
Ariost followed the party to Comsprings to learn about featherians from a featherian researcher named Danny Grace, then he got a little hint though not sure what he could do to persuade the featherians.
When the Featherian Queen was kidnapped, he and the party freed her from the Growshian ruins. Ariost said that the featherian mindset was the idea of giving up before trying, then telling the Featherian Queen about his father’s mindset.
After escorting the Featherian Queen back to Featherland, she said that Ariost’s father’s mindset was worth considering, but she still didn’t allow Ariost to meet his mother. After returning from Featherland, Ariost left the party for a while, and would eventually rejoin the party to stop the war.
After Misha’s true identity has been exposed, Ariost still likes Misha for who she is. If the protagonist chooses to persuade Ariost to cheer Misha up after the Maxwell incident, there will be a scene where Ariost manages to cheer Misha up.
After Venzel destroys the royal palace of Ranzack, Ariost is asked to meet by the Featherian Queen. After explaining about Venzel’s past, the Featherian Queen allows Ariost to go to his mother to find clues to defeating Venzel.
In the new route, Ariost plays an important role in working with magic line technician to create the portable magic pillars needed to stop Justin’s Darkness Fall.
After the final boss is defeated (either Venzel or Justin), Ariost will live with his mother and will marry Misha if the protagonist doesn’t choose Misha during the confession event.

In Growlanser I Drama CD, Ariost sounds the same as seen in the main game. One of the interesting scenes in this drama cd is Ariost who plays Carmine’s father who likes to have an affair with Carmine’s private teacher.
