Growlanser V Drama CD

Drama CD of Growlanser V Generations contains a serious side story with the presence of a new character.

The story takes place sometime after the Grangale army’s attack on Jaergen which was stopped by Zeonsilt and company using sleep magic.

This CD contains audio file which is divided into 5 parts, with a total duration of 42 minutes.

The opening is a narration by Chriass who talks about their actions that influenced history. There are many incidents whose facts are deliberately hidden in order to build a better world.

The story begins with a meeting at night between Vittorio and a new character named Leoria. Leoria advises Vittorio to support Zeakvalt’s movement, but Vittorio refuses to protect the citizens of Neylern.

A while later, Zeonsilt and company finally arrived at the Nu Nahn Ruins to defeat the Jagd Screaper. This part tells of their casual conversation which is not shown in the main game about the Zeonsilt’s ability and Jagd Screaper that is called a guardian deity.

Track 02

Characters: Leoria, Fernand, Chriass, Fanil, Randy, Corin, Zeonsilt

Leoria infiltrated Belshade Prison with her subordinates and attacked the PMB soldiers. Then she gets Fernand out of prison. After reaching a considerable distance from the prison, Leoria explains the situation to Fernand, and asks Fernand to lead the troops to attack Grangale. After arguing for a while, Fernand asks for time to think.

On the other hand, Zeonsilt and company arrive at the deepest part of the Nu Nahn Ruins. Not long after, the screapers appear and the fight begin. After a while, Jagd Screaper appears and the party fights to defeat it.

This section narrates the situation during the battle against Jagd Screaper and details that are not shown in the main game, such as what instructions Zeonsilt gives to his comrades, the techniques and magic they use, even the magic chants that are spoken can also be heard.

Track 03

News of the Belshade Prison attack reached Eimy who was on patrol in Rio Rey. Then Eimy rushed towards the Belshade Prison. Meanwhile Zeonsilt and comrades who returned from the Nu Nahn Ruins decide to camp out at night in the Saunail Forest. Zeonsilt, Fanil, and Corin go to collect firewood. There Corin continues her discussion about the future concept that she talked about in the main game (When Zeonsilt and friends investigated the cabin in a snowy area).

Suddenly a woman appears who is having a high fever, then Zeonsilt take her to their camp. After taking care of the woman, the party decide to rest for the night. In the morning, Zeonsilt wakes up and realizes that the woman isn’t there and they have lost the Screaper control device they had retrieved from Jagd Screaper. Then, Zeonsilt wake everyone up, and go to look for the woman.

After seizing the screaper control device, Leoria handed the device to Fernand, then Fernand leads the troops to attack Grangale. Eimy who was chasing the escaped prisoners met with Zeonsilt and friends and then tells them about what happened in Belshade Prison. Chriass orders Eimy to return to Belshade Prison, while Chriass and the party go to Jaergen Village and explain the situation to Vittorio.

Track 04

Fernand and his troops return to their secret base and use the Screaper control device to summon a Screaper that had the characteristics of attacking other Screapers. Then, Yagd Screaper appears and Fernand orders it to destroy Geilenach.

Eimy searches for clues to find the culprit in Belshade Prison. Then Eimy accidentally finds the key to open the secret passage and enters it.

Fernand and his troops almost reach Geilenach, then are intercepted by Zeonsilt and company. The battle begin. Fernand leave the battle with Jagd Screaper and head straight for Geilenach. Randy and Chriass handle Leoria and her subordinates. Meanwhile Zeonsilt and Fanil go after Fernand and Jagd Screaper.

Track 05

Zeonsilt fights 1 on 1 against Jagd Screaper. Not long after, Fanil caught up and casts magic. Corin scolds Zeonsilt for not using his special ability. But Zeonsilt can’t use it at will.

Sonic Waves!!

The magic that Fanil launched is successfully blocked by Jagd Screpaer using its Ultrasonic. Then, Zeonsilt gives an instruction to Corin. On the other hand, Chriass had a hard time dealing with Leoria. Randy advises Chriass to catch up with Zeonsilt, then faces Leoria and her subordinates alone.

Fernand is surprised by Zeonsilt’s fighting ability that is able to match Jagd Screaper which is on par with the bishop class. Fernand judges that Zeonsilt is stronger than Lockbein in his prime and on par with Zeakvalt. Suddenly Chriass appears from behind and manages to immobilize Fernand. Corin is happy that their plan worked. Chriass managed to retrieve the screaper control device, then orders Jagd Screaper to return to its nest.

Fernand gives his final message to Leoria and her subordinates to submit to Vittorio and walk the path of peace, then he dies. Chriass decides to hide this incident and not arrest Leoria and her subordinates for the sake of keeping the peace.
