Misha

Misha “ミーシャ” is a girl who attends the same magic school as Ruise.

She is Ruise’s best friend, a member of the protagonist’s party, and plays an important role in most of the comical scenes throughout the story of Growlanser I.

She was able to enter the magic academy thanks to the help of the Principal Maxwell.

Personality

Misha is pretty clumsy and often makes mistakes, but she has a cheerful personality.

She fell in love with Carmine at first sight and calls him “Onii-sama”.

She is a person who often fantasizes wildly and often bumps into people, making those around her worry about him.

Her weapons are staff and hammer, which have the highest HP and defense power among wizard-type characters, but she has a low INT value and low magic damage.

She loves cooking

Background

Her true identity is the “human-sized homunculus” created by Maxwell, and most of her memories are planted and fake.

She was created to keep an eye on the strongest Growshian, Ruise.

Through Misha’s vision, Maxwell was able to keep an eye on Carmine and the party.

In this world, the lifespan of the homunculus depends on the size of the body, Misha’s lifespan is the same as that of a normal human being.

Growlanser I

Misha met Carmine for the first time in the magic academy library. At that time he bumped into Carmine, then asked Ruise to introduce her to Carmine.

After Carmine won the fighting tournament and asked Maxwell for permission to enter Comsprings, Misha joins the party to enjoy the hot springs. From then on, Misha became a playable character.

When the party wanted to collect Clearno grass on Mount Blame, Misha suddenly spoke in an abnormal way and was able to correctly guess the natural phenomena happening there. Thanks to that, the party managed to safely collect Clearno grass. But when the party asked what happened to her, she didn’t seem to remember anything.

If the player chooses to watch over with Misha during Princess Leticia’s rescue mission, Misha will ask about Carmine’s favorite food. Then at one of her vacation events, Misha will make a cake for Carmine.

Whenever the party arrives at Rachel Village, Misha will disappear without warning and will return when the party tries to leave Rachel Village. On a mission to investigate the disappearance of the Growshians, Wallace consults Sandra to block Tipi’s telepathy.

After the party received the Magic Jammer from Sandra, Misha didn’t leave the party anymore when they came to Rachel Village. Misha invited party to visit her house which she believed was in a flower garden to the west of the village. Then, Ruise was worried about all the oddities of Misha.

When she saw that there was nothing on the land to the west of the village, Misha was shocked and doubted her own memory. The party comforted him not to rush into making a decision, after which they resumed their investigation.

These facts were revealed when Maxwell’s wrongdoing and nature were revealed. Misha was despaired after learning that she was a homunculus and was created to keep an eye on Ruise, she thought that she had betrayed Ruise.

However, with the encouragement of party, she recovered and fought to the end as “a friend of Ruise”, cutting off the fate as Maxwell’s puppet.

After the Maxwell incident, Misha was sad and separated from the party, but after being comforted by Carmine / Ruise / Ariost, she recovered. After that he returned to being cheerful and trying to get Carmine’s attention. If Misha is not chosen during the confession event, she will end up marrying Ariost at the end of the story.

Growlanser II

In Growlanser II The sense of justice, Misha is still seen appearing several times.

But this time not as a playable character, but as an npc.

As usual, Misha still looks careless and often bumps into people, including when she meets Wein.

She is still continuing her studies at the magic academy.

But since Ruise has graduated, and Ariost is very busy, there’s no one to help her study.

Growlanser IV Wayfarer of the time

Misha does not appear in main story of Growlanser IV Wayfarer of the time. However she appeared at the ending of its OVA as fan service with Ariost.

Growlanser ~Densetsu no Isan~

In Growlanser ~Densetsu no Isan~, Misha appears in original scenario 2: Mahō Gakuin no Aozora (The Blue Sky of Magic Academy).

This story takes place after the story of Growlanser 1, Misha is living her days at the magic academy.

As usual, Misha’s carelessness caused not only problems for herself, but also for others.

Misha also spends her days daydreaming about Carmine.

Drama CD

In Growlanser I Drama CD, Misha still plays an important role in various comical scenes. There are scenes of him messing up Ruise’s cooking, influencing Ruise with his wild fantasies, and even conducting interviews that don’t make sense.
