(She is known as Tippi in localized version of Growlanser II The sense of justice)
Table of Contents
Appearance
Tipi is 2 weeks old and her height is 16.4 cm. She has pink eyes and hair.
She can fly around with magic wings on her back. She’s wearing a black shirt, white shorts, and white shoes.
Personality
Contrary to the size of her body, she is a very energetic character who kicks Carmine a lot with her special move “Tipi-chan kick” when Carmine behaves strangely.
She has a strong sense of justice, and immediately rebukes anyone who does bad or evil things, including the protagonist.
Background
Worried about Carmine’s future, which had 2 contradictory predictions, Sandra created Tipi to watch over him.
Tipi is a homunculus in the form of a fairy.
In the story, many people know her as a fairy, but it is not told whether the fairy itself exists or not in this world.
Tipi is given the telepathy ability to share her senses with Sandra.
She can send directly what she is seeing and hearing to Sandra remotely.
The lifespan of a homunculus is proportional to the size of her body, so her lifespan is only about one to two years.
Growlanser I
When Tipi was told that she was created to keep an eye on Carmine, she found it troublesome. So at first, she did the task because she had no other choice.
But as time went by, she enjoyed her journey with Carmine and his comrades and quite liked Carmine. When Ruise fainted because of the loss of Growshu, Tipi wished that if she was also human, she could fight alongside Carmine and comfort him in difficult times.
In the last battle against Richart, she revealed her lifespan and advised that it is important to live as hard as he could, even if it was a short life.
When her ending criteria are met, she asked Sandra to change her body to human size. In the endings other than Tipi’s, the story ends with a story that she wants to adventure with Carmine until the end, even if she has a short life, and she thanked Sandra for creating her.
Growlanser II The sense of justice
In the sequel, Growlanser II The sense of justice, you can read her diary, but it is unknown whether she is alive or dead.
Growlanser IV Wayfarer of the time
Tipi does not appear directly in the Growlanser IV Wayfarer of the time.
But in Growlanser IV, there is 1 type of familiar that was designed based on her as a model (Type D-TP). She is also voiced by the same seiyuu.
Tipi also appeared at the ending of its OVA as fan service along with Carmine and several other characters from Growlanser I to III.
Growlanser VI Precarious world
Tipi does not appear directly in the Growlanser VI Precarious world. But in Yurry’s side quest, there is an old geezer who tells a fairy tale about the legend of Growlanser.
Then, he said:
“In a country, there was a man who has heterochromia eyes. He was received opposite prophecy, whether he will save the world or destroy the world in the future. And then the country’s famous witch sent a fairy to watch over the man.”
The old geezer also said that the legend has several endings, one of which is an ending with a fairy. In that ending, the fairy asked the witch to turn her into a human.
The fairy in the story has the same circumstances as Tipi.
Growlanser ~Densetsu no Isan~
In Growlanser ~Densetsu no Isan~, Tipi appears in original scenario 1: Tipi no Yūutsu (Tipi’s Melancholy).
This story takes place after the story of Growlanser 1, where Tipi and Ruise discuss about Carmine’s popularity.
In the end Tipi encouraged Ruise to be honest with herself.
Then Tipi said that she supported Ruise and wanted her to be happy. Tipi also says that her life will run out soon.
Chaos Wars
Tipi appears in another game “Chaos Wars” in chapter 2 act 2.
When she was traveling with Carmine who was on trip to visit Burnshutain as special envoy, they got lost.
Then, they appeared in the middle of a snowy area called “Shalulu Island – Ice Island”.
Note: The game itself informed that “this story has no relations with any existing works” at the beginning of the game.
Drama CD
In Growlanser I drama cd, there is not much change in Tipi’s role and behavior. Although the content of the drama cd itself is comedy, Tipi’s personality from the start has been compatible with the content.

Ending
To get the Tipi ending, there are several conditions that must be met:
(1) Collect all Tipi’s possibilities 1 to 7 (it will be carried over to the second playthrough)
(2) Number of kicks 20 times or more (repeatable kicks are counted)
(3) After (1) and (2) are met, refuse Oscar’s request to defeat Gevel
Note:
– Tipi’s ending has the highest priority for original route if all of the conditions are met.
– All possibilities should be gathered before the confession event. (However, please note that some items may not be available depending on the season)
