Anita “アニータ” is one of the heroines in Growlanser VI Precarious world.

One of the party members that has a long attack range.

She is Shuweizer’s younger sister and Brandole’s daughter.

Personality

Anita is a girl with a strong spirit even though her body is weak. She fights using floating orbs.

Although she has a relatively long range, she is not suitable for physical attacks because she has long ATW and low attack power.

She is the best magic user among the party members, with extraordinarily high MP and INT.

Through experiments, she gained the ability to see the future to some extent and the ability to time travel to the past.

However her abilities are incomplete, so she has to take medication as she goes to the past and puts an undue burden on Anita’s own body.

Background

Anita is the daughter of Brandole, the general manager of Monopolis Company. She is little sister of Shuweizer, the captain of Sekirō (Red Wolf) Division.

She is naturally ill and is given various cutting-edge treatments at the direction of her thoughtful father Brandole.

After Brandole was possessed by Infinitō, she spent her days as a guinea pig for “time travel ability”.

As a result, she who was cheerful when she was a child, but in recent years she has tended to be anti-social and is living under house arrest at the Lennocks Research Facility.

She spent her days as her father’s tool, but she met Merklich when she was losing her willpower to live, and regained her hope of living by interacting with him.

Growlanser VI Precarious world

Anita is the first heroine to have a dialogue with the protagonist at the beginning of the game. Although she was looking forward to Merklich to keep his promise, but when they met again, Merklich had lost his memory. Then, Anita asked Merklich to remember his memories, at least the memories of the 10 days they spent together.

When Merklich and Wendy failed in stopping the terrorists and the Lennocks Research Center exploded, Anita asked Merklich not to give up, and that was the last time Anita was present in the early part of the game.

Anita’s next appearance was in the middle of the game after Wendy and the party received news that Maxwell had committed suicide. Then they got an idea to save Maxwell in the past with the help of Anita.

Unfortunately, even at that time Merklich had not returned his memory, so Anita had no choice but to introduce herself again. Due to her ability, Anita already knew when Merklich would come to pick her up and what he wanted from her.

Once they arrived in Leystan, Anita explained about her abilities and the operations Merklich and Wendy received, as well as the reason why Rukias was able to return to the past. After that, Merklich and the party explained what happened to Brandole.

When they were hiding in a wooden box on their way to the Yastill detention facility, Anita entered the same box as Merklich. There, she recounted her gloomy past before meeting Merklich and the 10 days they spent together. After that, she confessed her love for Merklich.

After they managed to save Maxwell, they returned to the present and told Iristelessa. Then they fought against Shuweizer and his army. Anita managed to persuade Shuweizer to cooperate with Merklich and the party, but after the fight, Shuweizer was killed by Neilis.

After Shuweizer’s death, Anita took over as general manager of the Monopolis company and cooperated with other countries to thwart Infinitō’s plans.

When heading to 2000 years ago in the final battle, if player does not let her join the party, she will collapse because she will use the ability to time travel by force (life or death is unknown). If player takes her as a member, there is no particular effect in the next battle.

Drama CD

In Growlanser VI Drama CD, Anita behaves a little differently than she looks in the main game. Because the content of the drama cd is comedy, Anita looks more reliable than Shuweizer and has a dark side that makes her often badmouth her brother.
