Growlanser IV Wayfarer of the time Return is a gaiden work of the non-stop dramatic RPG Growlanser series.

This work is a fan disc and spin-off of Growlanser IV Wayfarer of the time. Unlike the main story, which was RPG, it progresses in a full-length ADV.

Story

In this work, it is revealed that the world of Growlanser IV was also indirectly connected to the world of Growlanser I to III.

Therefore, it will be more enjoyable if you have already played not only Growlanser IV but also past works (especially Growlanser III).

Episode A: GLIV Return

The main scenario of this work. In the ending of the main story, the main character, Crevaniel, who seemed to have disappeared due to magical erasure, returned in the epilogue a year later.

This scenario depicts a blank year in Crevaniel, who was missing. This scenario consists of three chapters, “spirit”, “space-time”, and “return”.

Spirit

This chapter depicts the journey of Crevaniel, who was sent to the Kirschland continent, which is the world of Growlanser III The dual darkness immediately after the main story.

Deployment branches depending on the choice, but there are a lot of bad ends due to selection mistakes. Game clear when you reach the true end.

Space-time

This chapter is a revealing chapter. It’s a short story, but it’s an important scenario where the links from Growlanser I to IV are revealed.

Return

This chapter is a later story of the ending of Growlanser IV Wayfarer of the time. However, it is necessary to load the clear save data of the Growlanser IV Wayfarer of the time.

Episode B: Foreboding

This is the scenario when Diana Silvernale was still a student at the military academy. Even if you make a mistake in the choices on the way, it will not be game over immediately, and the judgment will be made at the end of the scenario.

Episode C: SENSHI

The main characters are Roomise and Bower, the popular characters in the main story. In the episode from parting with the Crevaniel in Fandelcia to being defeated at Fort Leinfaltz, their passionate with the friendship life is portrayed.

There are few options and there is almost no chance of becoming a bad end. It is composed of 5 chapters which the title reads “SENSHI”:

• 戦士”senshi” (Warrior)
• 戦史”senshi” (War History)
• 戦死”senshi” (Killed in Action)
• 戦志”senshi” (War Spirit)
• 千思”senshi” (Thousand Feelings)

In addition to this, a Growlanser cult quiz and an anime DVD are included. Growlanser cult quiz is just a cult quiz. The difficulty of answering all the questions is very high because you will be asked even places that you would not normally care about, such as “the color of the roof of the house in XX”. Can you clear it by yourself without looking at the walkthrough?
